The Personal Development Zone at Harrogate Week 2012 is an invaluable resource for any sports turf professional who is looking to gain careers advice or inspiration.
To make sure you get the advice you require you can make an appointment prior to the show by contacting BIGGA HQ or you can drop by the Personal Development Zone stand on Tuesday 24th, Wednesday 25th or Thursday 26th January 2012.100 years of Greenkeeping Associations

Next year will be the centenary of the formation of the first Greenkeeping Association and BIGGA would like to recognise the occasion with a display at Harrogate Week 2012 and throughout the year in Greenkeeper International
In 1912 the Golf Greenkeepers’ Association was formed. Next year 2012 we hope to have a display showing a 100 years of Greenkeeping Associations’ history at Harrogate Week next January.
To be able to make this possible we need as much information and material as possible from all the decades of the 1900's.
I would ask anyone who may have been involved in any way in the running of any part of any Greenkeepers’ Association whether they have any knowledge or information that would help to lay out a continuous history of our Associations.Workshop Programme

An extensive range of half day, one-day and two-day workshops with subjects from Golf Course Design to Golf Club Marketing, all delegates will be able to find a workshop to suit them in the much extended Workshop Programme during HARROGATE WEEK. Places are limited so book early.
