Continue to Learn Seminars

Leading industry figures will present a number of Seminars at Continue to Learn at Harrogate Week in 2011. The Seminars will offer greenkeepers, groundsmen, golf professionals, club managers as well as those working in the landscape industries, the opportunity to continue their quest for lifelong learning.

All Seminars taking place on 18, 19 and 20 January 2011 are free of charge and available on a first come first served basis. The education programme will take place in the Queen's Suite above Hall C of the Harrogate International Centre.Personal Development Zone

The Personal Development Zone, introduced in 2010, will offer help and advice on developing your future within the turf and groundscare industry. Check out the timetable of events shown on the Education Page of this website and build a visit to the Personal Development Zone into your programme at Harrogate Week.
Workshop Programme

An extensive range of half day, one-day and two-day workshops with subjects from Golf Course Design to Carbon Auditing, Energy and Waste, all delegates will be able to find a workshop to suit them in the much extended Workshop Programme during HARROGATE WEEK. Places are limited so book early.

Need to check your email whilst you are at Harrogate? Want to find out the weather or turf disease risk back at home? Or just find the telephone number of a restaurant in town you want to book?
There will be four BIGGA Internet points, one located in each Hall, giving you free access to the internet whilst you are at the show.
You can use the opportunity to keep up to date with the latest Show news on the Harrogate Week website.BIGGA Stand

The BIGGA staff will be on hand to give advice and information on all Association matters. Visit the BIGGA Stand in Hall B for a chat and the chance to meet all the people you only ever talk to on the telephone.

What does the future hold in store for you?
Visit the "Job Shop" on the BIGGA stand in Hall B and explore the wide range of opportunities from all aspects of the industry.Media Centre

The Media Centre, located to the front of Hall A, offers much improved facilities. Exhibitors will be encouraged to display press information on their new launches and general company information while anyone wishing to hold a press briefing can book a slot with Scott MacCallum. Audio visual facilities will be available in the Media Centre. The more informal area within the Centre is used as a meeting area and general exhibition base for the press. Helpful staff are always on hand to ensure that a friendly welcome is the order of the day and pass on messages where required.
